Villa Atas Ombak, Indonesian for “Villa On The Waves”, is directly located on the beach only a few kilometers north of Legian. Featuring breathtaking views of Bali’s famous sunsets, the Villa was completed in mid-1995 and encompasses an acre and a half of garden area, with over 100 meters of beach frontage. It also includes a large swimming pool, a main building with three bedrooms, a large entertainment pavilion that functions as an open-air living room, and a separate guesthouse containing another two bedrooms. Located far enough away from the tourist crowds to ensure total privacy, this villa is still close enough to offer easy access to Bali’s favorite shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
It’s hard to say enough about Atas Ombak. The villa has been featured in a number of magazines, including Elle and Vogue, and has been used as the setting of several television shoots. With that sort of media coverage it is not surprising that Atas Ombak is consistently one of the most popular villas on the island. Occupancy figures remain very high and guests reserve far in advance. Due to its size, location, and scenic beauty it is also a favorite wedding and event location.
The villa underwent renovations in the Fall of 2006. Improvements were made to phsycial facilities and new amenities were added. Atas Ombak is certain to continue to define the Bali Dream Home.
Master Suite Bedroom – The large and luxurious Master Suite is dominated by the exotic modern canvas hung above the king-sized bed. The suite contains a large sunken bathtub, a dressing area, an open-air bathroom, and access to a private plunge pool.
Main House Guest Bedrooms – In addition to the Master Suite, two guest bedrooms are located in the main building. One guest bedroom is located on the ground floor and the second is above. Each bedroom has its own terrace, dressing area, and open-air bathroom.
Ocean Bedrooms – Two Ocean rooms are situated off to one side of the property. Closer to the beach than the main building, they each have full air-conditioning with large windows offering panoramic views, open-air bathrooms, and an outside lounge area
